The straight worm is indeed a simple stick-shaped worm but has the versatility to change presentation by using different widths and lengths. To be ready for various field conditions, an excessive amount of widths and lengths would be needed. Add color variations to this mix and one has to carry a huge amount of straight worms. Firstly, based on our experience, we selected the optimal widths “ultra skinny, medium, thick” and 12” length, typically the longest worm used in the field. Cutoff lines on the worm allow the angler to cut the appropriate length and make quick adjustments.

The material was carefully selected as well. One is a normal density material, and the other is a high-float material.
